  • Assess your financial readiness look at savings, income, and stability

2. KNOW YOUR BUDGET

  • Your housing cost should stay within 30% of your income

  • Shop lenders. Compare rates, terms, and total loan costs.

  • Reach out to Rosie (contact information above) to learn more about down payment and closing cost assistance.

3. APPLY WITH CONFIDENCE

  • Gather documents: pay stubs, bank statements, tax forms.

  • Get pre-approved for financing.

  • If denied, work with a counselor to make a new plan.

4. MAKE IT OFFICIAL

  • Do a final walk-through.

  • Confirm appliances and systems are functional.

  • Transfer utilities.

  • Close and receive your keys!
